First off, I did not know that bamboo is considered a grass and I did not know that viscose is one way to do suits in the summer.
I have never heard of such a fiber before making this post. I’ve always wondered how my dapper brother and sister bloggers continue to pull of suits in theses hot temps. I bought a couple just to see if they were being practical.
I bought this really cool gem from ASOS. It felt so good to the touch. It is light weight, drapes nicely across my short slim build and guess what? I was cool most of the day.
To note: I also made sure I wore it on a partly cloudy day in the evening just so I wouldn’t play myself. I guess there in lies a tip. Pick the right days to wear it.
Never-the-less the maintenance tag on this suit says. 80% Viscose 20% Polyester. What in the earth is viscose?
It’s a cellulose fiber farmed and processed from wood, grass and sometimes cotton.
Here’s a link to a deeper understanding on what this stuff is; https://www.barnhardtcotton.net/blog/know-fibers-cotton-vs-viscose-rayon/
It has a distinct texture. This makes me feel like I can do more suits if I can find it in this material. My biggest beef with the suits, along with being somewhat restrictive, is that I would get hot with as much as I move about. This was different. It felt like the track suit of double breast suits. (I hope thats not a bad things to my suited fellows.)
Oh yeah, if you haven’t been there in a while, do not sleep on Payless. I was blessed enough to find these little charms for about 20$. Sure they are ladies sneakers but who cares when you wouldn’t have know except I just told you or you have a pair. Its always good to find a good cheap pair of sneakers. Most likely the best looking unisex shoes are in the women’s stores. That’s so unfair but whatever.
Wait, I’ve got the glasses to finish the look. What do you think about these?
This suit is the one that changed my mind, maybe for forever. I think you’d like it too so all you have to do is click the photos or click the links below to get the look.
