TBT: THE FASHION WITNESS

Its a throw back Thursday. You have seen me post on my social media pages and on this blog using the name, “The Fashion Witness.” Today’s feature photos is the day the title was inspired.

This was just any day to shoot to have some content for my then tumblr blog and IG. Weeks before, I met photographer and MUA, Erika King, at that time we spoke about just shooting about for fun, one day. One day, came at random, she brought along some guy I didn’t know but I didn’t mind, the more the merrier right. Later I found out this guy is the Rick Crank. Now I’ve a face and work opportunity with the name. So now, you get to see the random magic that happened.

So where did the Fashion Witness come from. Well, the look was inspired by the Mormon or Jehovah’s Witness missionaries you see peddling bikes, going from door to door, with their white shirts and black ties and backpacks. With my fantastic eclectic eye, I used my o so comfortable shorts and tights, paired with a standard slim fit white collard shirt, found a hi-lo leather skirt at Glamor Setters in Durham to use as a cape, and grabbed one of my green brimmed hats and aaaaaaaah (angelic singing) here’s the Fashion Witness look.

Also shout out to the love lady whom we just grabbed off the street. She was dressed so well for a casual stroll downtown.

Photo credit to Rick Crank and Erika King for having fun with me in shooting this blog post.
