One of my favorite sneakers from Steve Madden are these casual golf-shoe looking kicks.
I am a fan of looks that are a great mix of dressy and street. These shoes are a nice mix of those two worlds.
Your eyes are not deceiving you. This shoe is off-white and ice white with black accents.
Two things I love about this shoe other than the colors are:
- It’s on a platform. I love the heigh boost but I love more that there is more cushion to make for comfortable standing and a lot of shock absorption.
- The sole is curved in the back. For me this means I don’t have to take my shoes off while driving. I commute an hour on the highway to and from work. Switching from the accelerator to the brake constantly leads to dirty heels on most of my soft bottom shoes and sneakers. Having a curved heel on the shoe means I have a proper rest for my heel; it’s something durable and it looks like the sole of the shoe, so its not gonna look like the side of my right shoe is extra worn down.
I think this shoe is a really nice day to night time shoe. Instead of thinking just office day attire to night fun. You can also go from casual leisure day to evening dress casual night.
Something like a nice double breast blazer would fit that bill.
