This just in Çoul has taken a lunch break for once. Place of choice, Bar Pitti.
I rarely do I take a lunch break. I’m either eating while working or I’m eating because I do not intend to work any more. Never the less, I had a craving for bread which is pretty often and I was very satisfied at Bar Pitti with the Pappardelle Alla Fiesolana dish. Look at it! It was just a great as it looked.
I don’t drink alcohol so I can’t recommend any wines. However, the flavor and texture of the dish didn’t need any help to me.
The only thing about the experience I hated was that it was cash only. It was a slight inconvenience since I had to leave my table to get cash from across the street. All was well when I tasted the food though. Overall I was pleased to have stopped in.
So next time you are in NY or having a craving for bread. Stop in for a very casual and delicious Italian experience. You can find them at 268 Avenue of the Americas, New York, NY 10014.
