FRAMES ARE BACK AT THE FRONT

If you’ve not been paying attention, frames are coming back to the front of sartorial attention, meaning consumers and designers are looking at the details in glasses. Here are some frames I picked up a few months ago

These wayfarer style frames are one of my favorite styles to wear and they agree with my oblong facial structure. I like the reader slash artist slash hipster look. The best thing I like about these frames is a detail you don’t really catch until they are off or you sit in different lighting. The orange colored part of the frames are slightly translucent so I love how the sun makes them glow.

I paired them with these great polk dot pants (the inside of the pants are light blue so they great roll/cuffed) and this brown belt someone gave to me. I think my mom did. I don’t know when was the last time you have found a belt with custom holes. Custom holes?! Yes the belt has no wholes in it. I had to punch some in to wear it but I love and I’ve seen them before in thrift stores and trash cans but I love it. They are always made of real thick leather and this one had a great design.

Another item I think slim men like me should embrace are swoop neck t-shirts with athletic cut sleeves. They are obviously great for warmer weather but I love them because they look great with short necklaces. Whether the necklace is tucked in or left out, having the swoop neck shirt either gives that double half circle look or draws much attention to the collar bone (which I like showing mine.)
