The summer season is winding down FINALLY. We know the summer is all about how less you can wear while still looking presentable. Corporate America plus fashion plus the summer heat equals a dire attempt to just say to heck with it; especially in the south where there are not that many high rise buildings and although we’ve plenty of trees if you work in the city, yeah the skinny baby street tree is no help.
But this last stretch of summer, where the degrees descend into a consistent cool, allows for the best summer-fall mix executions, it’s fashion b4 the fall is in full effect. This is the time where you may mix fall fabric shorts or long pants and a thin t-shirt. Speaking of mixing fabrics between seasons, its time to start thinking about pulling out those thin layers as the cold mornings and hot afternoons are only a few weeks away.
Im embracing this floral pink, burgundy, purple look. I will also say that I manage to find a comfortable pair of pink slip ons that wasn’t tearing at the back of my heels. Thanks GAP for having these sneaks. I call them the pink fish skin feet.
