Finally A Dope Necklace Designer for Urban Wear

You know how much I love accessories.  Can you say street wear necklaces? I have found something dope to add to your sneakers and jeans.

In this post I’m featuring two of three of my favorite necklaces from the current Ethnicity Brand collection. I love metallics so when I got the black gold piece, I was thinking the designer, Desmond Handon, knew more about me than it seemed. The real treat for me in the gold one is from a distance it looks like two rows gold coins. As you get closer you catch the imagery of the gold metal coins being hung together with a string going through them. That makes it a statement piece; and how often can you find a statement necklace that’s better classified with street wear hmm? Not often.

The second favorite is the piece that features spheres of wood and silver linked together with turquoise crosses and with a turquoise stone at the end. It has a street meets heaven type vibe, a positive vibe to it. I’m definitely a positive vibes only type guy so that may be why I like it so much. It’s dope.

I have been searching for a long time for the those large buddha beads. Among all of the hemp necklace and wood necklace makers it’s been hard to find nice and kinda simple but fly necklaces to go with my street wear. By “kinda simple” I mean something ornate enough to go with my more dressier looks while being simple enough with some character to go with a t-shirt and sneakers look. Looks like I’ve found a retailer that gives that vibe.

Oh yeah, they give away free products every two weeks to 3 followers. EthniCity Brand @ethnicitybrand on IG and snapchat.

I thought pairing them with  jumpsuits would be a nice way to kick off some old but always good fall looks. The green jumpsuit is from Forever 21. The tan jumpsuit is from my favorite vintage shop in downtown Raleigh, Father and Son Antiques.

You must explore Father and Son when you are in the area. I don’t mind sharing because their inventory is so big we can all find some treasures to share. Check out their Facebook page at this link.
