Balenciaga has made them popular but not many people tryna save $750 to get some sock sneakers. This post is inspired by a pretty fly pair of AFFORDABLE sock sneakers.
The shoes in the lookbook video are by Zara. Somebody say thank God for Zara. These budget sock sneakers retail for about $90 and I think they have a more futuristic look than the popular luxury street style sneaker by Balenciaga.
Buyer beware, order one size smaller. These run big. You’ll notice it when you step, the middle will bubble out. Other than that I think these are FIRE. I love the arch gap in the sole. I love the small detail in the fabric that make it look more like tech wear.
Just to put it on radar, Steve Madden also has a line of sock sneakers that are amazing. I think the women’s are better than the mens so I pre-ordered them. They will be release on May 15, 2018.
As for the rest of the outfit, the faux leather shorts are from Forever 21 from a few seasons ago. I haven’t found a decent looking pair lately. At least none that weren’t bondage type wear or faux leather beach shorts.
